Degree Info

In 4 years you'll look like this:

Jo(ann)e Bloggs MD

Prerequisites

UWA has no formal prerequisites, however they do publish a list of recommended subjects to be undertaken during a bachelor degree.

Application Bonuses

Applicants holding a Masters degree by research will receive a "small bonus" (0.2 points) to their GPA. PhD-bearing applicants are determined to have a GPA of 7.0.

It has been proposed that applicants already holding a dental degree with unrestricted registration and hoping to pursue a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery may be able to apply to the MD program via a special subquota, involving direct application to the university and the completion of a personal statement and interview. However, for the 2016 admissions cycle, no such places are available [1].

Required Documentation

Applicants wishing to apply through the Rural or Broadway Pathway entry schemes must submit supporting documentation [1].
